About These DataWhen adjusted for inflation, this dataset shows how the Federal Pell Grant program has recently benefitted from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (i.e., stimulus money). 2010 Pell Grant spending, $33.1B, is 102% greater than 2008 spending. The House Appropriations Committee has proposed reducing FY12 Pell Grant expenditures by changing eligibility criteria.
